Covid-19: Malaysia records 3,902 new cases, KL most affected

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia has recorded 3,902 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours, with Kuala Lumpur making up the largest share with 1,276 cases.

There were eight fatalities reported yesterday, one of which was a brought in dead case.

This brought the death toll to 35,870 since the pandemic began.

The active cases stood at 42,144, with 96.2 per cent or 41,488 patients being quarantined at home.

The Health Ministry also recorded 2,935 recoveries yesterday.

To date, the country has recorded a total of 4,629,963 Covid-19 cases since the pandemic began.
