SHAH ALAM - PKR advisory council chairperson Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail could not hold back her emotions today when she spoke on party's internal conflict and the enemies within.

Referring to the recent PKR polls which sparked rifts over allegations of manipulation and vote-buying, she said ‘don't destroy what we have built together.'

“Only God knows my love for the party. In a party election, there will be those who win and lose in any contest. That is normal,”

“We are not enemies. We are in the same party. If you want to leave, go ahead. Do not be an enemy from within,” she said during her speech at the party’s 16th National Congress at Ideal Convention Centre Shah Alam (IDCC) today.

She also reminded party members that they need to come together for the coming general elections and to work towards a common goal.

“Now is the time to gather our strength and be consistent without struggle.

“We want party members to be open and magnanimous. They must be willing to have dialogue and negotiations,” she told the members.

Meanwhile, Wan Azizah also admitted that during the party's 23 years of struggle, the loyalty of members was never compromised despite being accused of various conflicts affecting the party's stability.
