SHAH ALAM - Wanita PKR chief Fuziah Salleh said the PKR’s 16th National Congress will see a new top five lineup and voting of 20 selections of women counciltoday.

Fuziah said the full lineup would be revealed towards the end of the congress, which was held at Ideal Convention Centre Shah Alam (IDCC).

“I am confident that I will be leaving Wanita in good hands as it will be led by YB Fadhlina Sidek, but don't worry, those who lost will not always lose and those who win will not always win.

“We will rebuild it with the hope that it can strengthen Wanita,” she told the media during the press conference.

Replying to a question by a reporter, she said there was an allocation which said that there was 30 per cent of women in the decision making process of the party.

The number, she said, had been increased with the mechanism to meet the quota of 40 per cent.

“We are trying our best to achieve the quota but if possible, we do not want just to fill in the quota as we want the women to have quality as well.

“So we are in line with the constitution while making sure the training is ongoing so that when they fill in (the quota), they are ready,” she said.
