Aidiladha: Crawling traffic on major highways

KUALA TERENGGANU - East coast-bound traffic has built up at the Gombak toll plaza this morning, as Klang Valley folks continue to head back to their hometowns for Aidiladha eid celebration.

Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) on Twitter reported that traffic was slow moving at eastbound KM41.6 to KM48.9 before and after Gombak toll plaza heading towards Bukit Tinggi as of 8:46am today.

According to LLM, the traffic on Plus expressway is also congested at the North-South Expressway (PLUS) northbound near Sungai Dua to Sungai Dua Plaza Toll, Ipoh to R&R Sg. Perak, Tapah to Gopeng, Slim Rover to Bidor, Lembah Beringin to Tanjung Malim and R&R to Sungai Buaya as of 9.55am today.
