SHAH ALAM - Karangkraf Media Group will be hosting Arafah #QuranHour tomorrow (July 9) 10am at its main mosque after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The one-hour programme will be aired on all Sinar Harian digital platforms, themed “Haj Manifests Obedience and Submission of the Soul Towards Piety” and focuses on the recitation of the Quranic verses 18 and 19 from Surah Al-Hajj and verse 15 of Surah Al-Sajdah.

Both of the verses encapsulates the importance of prostrating to Allah SWT as well as teaching that the prostrating movement involves seven parts of the body touching the ground which was a concept of being humble as a servant as well as praising the greatness of Allah SWT.

Warisan Ummah Ikhlas Foundation Chief Executive Officer Marhaini Yusoff said Arafah #QuranHour takes the momentum of the largest gathering of Muslims reciting Surah Al-Sajdah, Surah Al-Hajj and selected verses from the Quran in building the character of a prostrating and obedient servant of God.

“I hope the leaders will help the ummah as we are straying further as a community of a nation and Malaysia seems to be facing many challenges as some figures are putting power above God,” he said at Karangkraf studio, today.
