M’sia reports 2,536 cases, five deaths in the last 24 hours

KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysia recorded 2,536 Covid-19 cases with three imported cases in the last 24 hours, according to data published by the Health Ministry (MoH).
During the time period, five new deaths were reported, no brought-in-dead (BID) cases outside hospital facilities were involved bringing the death toll to 35,776 since the pandemic began.
Currently, there are 29,793 active cases with 28,508 (95.7 per cent) undergoing home quarantine while 19 individuals were placed in PKRC.
1,221 patients are currently undergoing treatments in hospitals with 45 placed in intensive care units (ICU).
