SHAH ALAM - A Warisan leader has urged the Barisan Nasional (BN) government to solve issues under the Malaysian Agreement 1963 Cabinet Special Committee.

Warisan leader Darell Leiking said there are four remaining issues out of the 21 issues that have not been completed due to the Sheraton Move in March 2020.

This comes after BN's deputy chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan suggested a new Malaysia Agreement as a way to move forward to realise the state's rights and demands instead of relying on the 1963 agreement that led to the formation of Malaysia.

"Seventeen issues of the 21 issues were resolved. Unfortunately, since March 2020, not a whimper of the four issues were resolved by PN or BN.

"To now suggest a new Agreement is an affront to Sabah and Sarawak, even the Current MA63 can't be resolved," he said in a statement.
