JOHOR BAHRU - Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi claims that Tan Sri Annuar Musa is among the individuals that like the press conference made by Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman's yesterday.

He alleged that the Communications and Multimedia Minister had actively shared the media reports on the press conference.

"Annuar Musa seems to like Tajuddin’s press conference. He was the most active to ‘viral and share’ media reports especially portals on the press conference made by Tajuddin yesterday.

“To him, it is a chance to smash Umno. Annuar is saying the actions towards Tajuddin will form a crisis and he knows it, which is why he made it viral and shares it," Puad wrote in his Facebook page today.

He however said that Tajuddin's press conference was considered as confusing with points meant to up himself and there were a lot of with twisted points.

"Many know that Tajuddin has set multiple meetings in his house, why did her turn 200 degrees? He had a phobia when he was being investigated by MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission). There were a lot of witnesses.

"The Pasir Salak heroic legacy is great and all however, the witnesses of the modern Pasir Salak are quick to turn tail," he wrote.

Yesterday, Tajuddin for the first time opened up as to why he was removed as a member of Umno’s supreme council.

Last Friday, Umno President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi explained the removal of Tajuddin was made as he had criticised the party through statements, speeches and lectures in several closed-door meetings.

However, Umno Secretary General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said the move was taken to give Tajuddin a chance to focus as the country’s Ambassador to Indonesia.

The position left by Tajuddin was filled by former Selangor Barisan National Information Chief Isham Jalil.
