Car driven by pregnant woman skids off-road

CYBERJAYA – A pregnant woman escaped unharmed when the car she was driving skids to the roadside in an accident at Taman Putra Perdana, Puchong earlier this morning.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis said the woman, who was five months pregnant, was believed to have lost control of the vehicle and skidded to the roadside which was two-metre-high.

“The victim, however, did not sustain any injury.

“Prior to the arrival of the rescue team at the scene, she was successfully extricated from the vehicle by the public,” he said in a statement.

The victim, who was in shock, was sent to Putrajaya Hospital by the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) for further treatment.
