Beauty care founder Faziani's death probe handed to Wisma Putra, Interpol, say Kelantan cops
KOTA BHARU - Kelantan police have handed over the probe of skincare and beauty products founder Faziani Rohban Ahmad's death in 2019 to Wisma Putra and the Interpol.
Acting Kelantan Police Chief Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun said the move was to gain insights over a police report lodged.
"Investigations over the incident were disputed, and what took place during the accident and including other details would be sent to Foreign Affairs and Interpol," he said in a press conference in Kelantan Contingent Police Headquarters on Monday.
Zaki hopes his team would be given space to do what is necessary to ensure justice by giving facts.
"Police do not want the public to make their own assumptions," he said.
"It is not an investigation on the case but an investigation on the validity of the report.
"Investigations over the death and the accident were investigated in Thailand," he said, adding that there has been some "suspicious" raised over the case by family and friends.
Sinar Harian reported on Thursday that the Dnars Skincare beauty products founder's family had lodged a report to investigate further over what took place during that accident on May 18, 2019.
