SHAH ALAM - A man was killed in an accident after he lost control of his car and crash into a toll booth divider at KM30.3 at the Damansara-Puchong Expressway here today.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department chief Norazam Khamis said the department received a distress call at 3:57pm about the accident and eight personnel from Puchong Fire and Rescue station were deployed to the scene.

“The car, driven by a 51-year-old man had crashed into the divider causing him to be pinned in the driver seat.

“The rescue team had successfully extricated the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene by the medical team from the Health Ministry,” he said in a statement.

Norazam said the victim was identified as Sim Ken Siang and he was driving alone when the incident took place.
