PKR Polls: Saifuddin wins Sabah, Rafizi sweeps 7 states with 12,000 majority
Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution wins Sabah while Rafizi Ramli sweeps Pahang, Kelantan, Melaka, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Kedah and Johor.
SHAH ALAM - Rafizi Ramli is said to be leading the PKR's number 2 post after securing 52,978 votes against Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution's 40,256 votes.
In Pahang, Rafizi won with a majority of 1,438 after receiving 1,863 votes against Saifuddin's 425 votes.
In Johor, 3,967 voters backed Rafizi while Saifuddin secured 1,117 votes.
Saifuddin won in Sabah with a 1,771 majority or 8,585 votes while Rafizi had 6,814 votes.
Rafizi snatched Saifuddin's home state Kedah after winning 4,847 votes against Saifuddin's 2,724 votes. Saifuddin is Bandar Baru Kulim MP and won with a wafer-thin 18 votes or 623 votes.
Rafizi won Kelantan with 1,720 votes against Saifuddin's 1,075 votes.
In Selangor which had one of the biggest turn out during the polls saw Rafizi gaining 25,449 votes against Saifuddin's 22,101 votes.
In Negeri Sembilan, Rafizi won with a majority of 2,651 after securing 5,556 votes. Melaka which was the earliest state to announce the votes saw Rafizi securing 2,762 votes against Saifuddin's 1,324 votes.
Results from Perlis, Kuala Lumpur, Terengganu and Sarawak are yet to be announced.
