Saifuddin loses Kedah, Rafizi wins 5 states so far

SHAH ALAM - Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution has lost his home state in Kedah to underdog Rafizi Ramli as both eye for the number 2 seat in PKR elections after Datuk Seri Azmin Ali quit PKR in 2020.

Rafizi won over 5,000 votes as compared to Saifuddin, who managed to secure slightly over above 2,700 votes in Kedah. Saifuddin, the MP for Bandar Baru Kulim retained his seat with a wafer-thin majority of 18 votes.

Rafizi has also swept Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Selangor, and Kelantan.

In Negeri Sembilan, Rafizi garnered 5,522 votes against Saifuddin (2,339 votes). In Melaka, Rafizi garnered 2.437 votes against Saifuddin's 1,464 votes.

In Selangor, Rafizi won in 15 divisions with 24,819 votes against Saifuddin who won in seven divisions with 20,538 votes.
