SHAH ALAM - Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) Sdn Bhd has reached out to community members from the underprivileged groups to share the joy of Aidilfitri by providing essential goods, hot meal packs, free desludging services and landscaping works.

Its Chief Executive Officer Narendran Maniam said giving back to society was always at the heart of the company, where environmental sustainability and community engagement were injected into its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives known as ‘IWKCares’.

“While the way we celebrate Raya might be different but the heart of the celebration – forgiveness, sharing joy and remembering those who are less fortunate – is what matters most. IWKCares will continue its efforts in creating a positive impact for all community members beyond the festivities,” Narendran said.

He said that creating a positive impact for Malaysians and the environment was at the core of IWK’s operations and they would continue to reach out to communities and local stakeholders through its operation’s network to seek opportunities for the community’s betterment.
