Saifuddin-Rafizi to debate live on May 11, organised by Sinar Harian
SHAH ALAM - Political fans will have a chance to watch a live debate between PKR Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution and Rafizi Ramli, both gunning for PKR number 2 post on May 11 in Studio F, Sinar Harian from 3pm onwards.
Sinar Harian editor-in-chief Rozaid Rahman in a statement said, the 'Berani Semuka: Siapa Layak Bersama Anwar?' (Face Off: Who deserves to be with Anwar?) programme will last for one hour and a half.
It will be broadcasted live on all platforms of Sinar Harian.
Rozaid said, the ‘debate’ between the future leaders of PKR will be a great opportunity on whom will take over the top leadership of the party after Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Anwar won the presidency post without contesting as the party prepares for internal polls from May 13 to 18.
Rozaid said the debate will act as a platform to test the credibility of the two candidates over current issues, leadership and the future of PKR.
The 'Berani Semuka:Siapa Layak Bersama Anwar?' will kickstart with introductory sessions, followed by questions from the moderator.
The Berani Semuka programme has hosted top leaders including former religious affairs minister Datuk Seri Mujahid Yusof and former Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Rahim to debate allegations of malpractice within the pilgrim's fund in 2020.
Others are Umno Youth Chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki with PKR's Pasir Gudang MP Hassan Karim over Employees Provident Fund (EPF) RM10,000 withdrawal in January.
