Pas Leak: Police to question politicians to aid investigation
KUALA LUMPUR – Several political leaders will be called for questionings to aid the police’s investigation into ‘Pas Leak’ documents.
State police chief Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim said the police an investigation was underway, and police would be recording statements from the politicians named in the document.
“We expect to call up several politicians soon to record their statements,” he said, adding that the matter will be investigated thoroughly.
Prior to this, several documents claiming to be one be Pas minutes of meetings which had a plan to bring Umno and BN down had been circulated.
The document, which is classified as confidential is purportedly the minutes of a Pas meeting represented by its Secretary-General Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan and vice-president Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar. It was also joined by several senior leaders of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), Chairman of Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Umno leader Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Tun Hussein.
