PETALING JAYA – Two sisters on a motorcycle were killed after their vehicle collided with a lorry at Jalan PJS 3/2 Taman Medan, here, yesterday.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said the victims, aged 11 and 15 were pronounced dead at the scene at 8.54pm.

“Initial investigation revealed the motorcycle rode by the victims was believed to have lost control before it was hit by a lorry.

“The victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene,” he said in a statement.

The bodies were taken to University Malaya Medical Centre for post-mortem and the case was being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
