SUBANG - Former Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu is ready to testify if the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) summons him to assist in investigations over the sale of the Seri Iskandar airport site land in Perak.

Faizal, the Minister of Youth and Sports said he has yet to be called by MACC to assist in the probe.

"MACC is currently investigating the matter. We should let them do an in-depth probe. If the MACC needs help or evidence, I will give my full cooperation," he told Sinar Premium while attending a buka puasa event organised by his ministry.

Sinar Harian had previously reported that Manjoi state assemblyman Datuk Asmuni Awi was called by MACC over the land sale.

Asked over minutes of a meeting believed to be of Perikatan Nasional (PN) discussing several controversial topics including ousting of Umno leaders and plans to weaken Barisan Nasional (BN), Faizal refused to comment.

He said he is yet to see such a document.
