KUALA LUMPUR - Former Astro chief executive officer Datuk Rohana Rozhan, who was said to be involved in a 10 year relationship with ex-Goldman Sachs banker Tim Leissner, has agreed to return US $10 million, according to sources.

A Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) source has said, Rohana had contacted the anti -graft commission to return the assets from Leissner using the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB)-linked funds.

Leissner, a prosecution witness had said in a US trial that he bought Rohana the house after she threatened to expose his involvement in 1MDB.

MACC had then taken a statement from Rohana of which she had express her willingness to cooperate with the authorities. - Awani
