Covid cases dips further to 8,112 with 12 deaths

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia recorded 8,112 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours as compared to 10,177 cases yesterday.
Meanwhile, over 2,811 are hospitalised with 64 patients in intensive care units (ICU) with 110 patients requiring ventilator support.
There were 12 deaths in the last 24 hours with four brought-in dead (BID) cases, bringing the total death toll to 35,292 since the pandemic began.
Currently, there are 145,798 active cases with 142,513 (97.7 per cent) undergoing home quarantine.
Klang Valley and Selangor recorded the highest number of Covid-19 infections with 7,444 and 6,586 respectively in the last seven days.
The country has reported 4,289,527 Covid-19 in total since the pandemic began.
