Sinar Harian offers "Berani Semuka" platform for Najib-Anwar debate

SHAH ALAM - Sinar Harian has offered to host the debate between Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Sinar Karangkraf Group Editor-in-Chief, Rozaid Rahman said the best platform for the debate to be held on is “Berani Semuka”.
"It is one of Sinar Harian’s iconic programme and has played host to various debates since its introduction in 2020," Rozaid said in a statement today.
Berani Semuka has featured then Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Islamic Affairs) Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Yusof and the former Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Rahim on the issue of Tabung Haji assets.
While Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman and Seberang Jaya assemblyman Dr Afif Bahardin debated on Malaysia’s Movement Control Order and the fate of the people titled “PKP, Rakyat Terabai?”.
Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today accepted former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's challenge to debate on the bailout of Sapura Energy Bhd (Sapura Energy).
Anwar said he had challenged Najib on similar matters for the past decade but left hanging.
"I am ready to face and debate Najib for the country and the people anytime,” he said in a statement this afternoon.
