Covid-19: 11,918 cases, 30 deaths in the last 24 hours

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia records 11,918 new Covid-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours, a decrease of 2,556 cases from the previous day.

This brings to 4,210,583 active cases since the pandemic began.

Malaysia recorded 30 new Covid-19 fatalities which included 11 brought-in-dead cases.

At present, there are 192,947 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 188,534 or 97.7 per cent are home quarantined.

However, only 478 people were being treated at low-risk quarantine centers while 3,682 were hospitalised.

A total of 96 cases were in intensive care unit (ICU), meanwhile 157 of them requiring ventilator support.

As of yesterday, there were 20,635 patients who have recovered from the disease.
