SHAH ALAM - The reaction of an Umno division chief during a live show on Thursday night has garnered attention with many questioning if he was mocking a fellow panelist who was talking at the time in response to his answer.

Subang Umno Youth Chief Alfie Zainal was seen laughing and making arm gestures directed at people beyond the screen, while political advocate Siti Rahayu Baharin gave her views on the Employment Dividend Fund's (EPF) fourth withdrawal scheme.

This happened during the Sinar Daily Wacana English Edition titled 'Dear Youth Leaders, What's Next?' that went live on March 31 at Kompleks Karangkraf, Shah Alam.

Political advocate Siti Rahayu was talking about the scheme and how the government could not help its own people in the current economic state, forcing the people to rely on their own retirement savings.

“I do not agree with the EPF withdrawal since it shows how our country's economy has been now. The reality of our economic state now is that even the government cannot help its people.

“I witnessed two families that used the withdrawal money to bail out their father, who is a drug addict, and they used the EPF money for this,” she said.

Before that, she commented about Umno and BN's lack of contribution to the people despite their promise of ‘BN Hidup Rakyat’ and the stability of the people’s future.

While she was talking, Alfie Zainal can be seen giving smirks and laughing a little, prompting the public to wonder if he was mocking Siti Rahayu or if there is any other reason for his questionable reaction.
