SHAH ALAM - It's been ugly two years for PKR as the party came to terms with the sudden collapse of Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration after Sheraton Move to almost getting wiped out in Melaka and Johor state elections.
PKR chief organising secretary Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad said it has been painful for the party as Sheraton Move saw 11 of its MPs jump ship to Bersatu in 2020.
It left a big scar, he said during an interview with Sinar Daily Politically Frank.
“Being able to finally win power in 2018 and then to lose 22 months later was a big psychological blow to party members, including me,” he said.
When asked over PKR's next move for GE15, he said the party believes it should be with remain with "like-minded" PH as their cooperation goes back to over 20 years.
“There may be some adjustments or tactical manoeuvres for the general election, but we will stay with PH due to the fact that we have a light-minded ideologically.
“This is where we are very similar as opposed to PN or BN which have different policies,” he said.
