I will not join Umno, says rebel Khairuddin

SHAH ALAM - Kuala Nerus MP Datuk Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali has denied assertions that he will join Umno.

Instead, Mohd Khairuddin stated that he is a man of principles and will announce if he would join any other political party, however, stop short of saying that he wouldn't return to former party Pas.

“Insyallah, just wait for what I have to announce in the future.

“There are many parties that come forward. Not to offer a place in their party but to give encouragement on the grounds of being a fellow lawmaker and political colleagues

"Many have come, that is normal but no need to say anything more than that. What is important is that we sit together for the betterment of the country and the people,’’ he said.

Last Monday, Mohd Khairuddin announced that he was quitting Pas to be an independent MP.

Last month, he was sacked as Pas Ulama council for an unspecified reason.
