Pas is a political party with the most enemies, says Hadi Awang
ALOR SETAR - The spirit and strength of Pas members in continuing the party's vision to uphold Islam leaves the party with a lot of enemies compared to other parties.
Pas President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang said, the success of the party in governing three states namely Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu, apart from being in the Federal Government, was only the beginning.
“Because of that, our party has the most enemies as well as the most challenges compared to other parties as we are the longest standing party in the arena to this day.
"Other parties, when the leader dies, the party dies, when the leader is weak, the party is also weak. But us, when there are weak leaders, other leaders will take over to resume the fight of the party.
"This is our greatness," he said when officiating the Kedah Pass Complex Administration Building in Kota Sarang Semut here yesterday.
Meanwhile, Abdul Hadi stated that the party was never afraid of losing even though the party has limited resources.
However, on the basis of defending and continuing the party's vision, Pas managed to endure for so long despite multiple changes in its leadership.
"We are used to losing. Those who always win tend to crumble when they lose once. Do not feel humiliated if you see your enemies in such a state, they are sick, scared and afraid of losing.
"We are not afraid, we will continue to fight until the end of life," he said.
Commenting further, he also reminded Pas members to always be steadfast and not to be influenced by those who refused to play the rules
This ‘group’, he explained, was a group that wanted a quick victory and refused to believe that Islam could win. - AWANI
