Thunderstorms, heavy rains and strong winds in several states -MetMalaysia

SHAH ALAM- Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a bad weather alert today as thunderstorms, heavy rains and strong winds are expected to hit several states until 9pm.

The bad weather, it said was expected in Kedah, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, Sarawak, Sabah and Labuan.

It stated that thunderstorms, heavy rains and strong winds were expected in Kedah (Kuala Muda, Sik, Baling and Kulim), Perak (Kuala Kangsar), Kelantan (Machang, Pasir Puteh, Kuala Krai and Gua Musang), Terengganu (Besut, Setiu and Hulu Terengganu), Pahang (Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub, Jerantut, Bentong, Temerloh, Maran, Bera, Pekan and Rompin), Negeri Sembilan (Jelebu, Jempol and Tampin), and Johor (Segamat, Kluang, Mersing, Kota Tinggi and Johor Bahru).

Meanwhile, Sarawak (Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit, Song, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri and Limbang), Sabah (Kuala Penyu, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran, Ranau and Kota Belud) and Labuan were also expected to experience the same weather condition until 9pm.
