'Its a victory for the party', Muda's superwoman Amira Aisya says

JOHOR BAHRU - Muda's Amira Aisya Abd Aziz has won the Puteri Wangsa seat, the first for the new party that made a debut in polls.

She was in a six-cornered fight against BN, PN, Pejuang and Parti Bangsa Malaysia.

Considered as the backbone of the party, the 27-year old won with 22,884 a majority of 7,114 at the March 12 Johor polls.

During a press conference, she said to be grateful and "it is a victory for the party".

In a Facebook live, she however said it was not an easy fight as they contested under Muda's new flag,

The Muda secretary-general said her first goal is to serve the rakyat of the Puteri Wangsa.

“And this is just the beginning of the race,” she said.
