Johor Polls: 13 per cent turnout as of 10am

JOHOR BAHRU - The turnout rate for the Johor state election is at 13 per cent as of 10am today, according to the Election Commission (EC).
The EC had previously targeted a 70 per cent turnout rate for the polls.
On Friday, EC secretary Datuk Ikmakrudin Ishak said a total of 1,021 voting centres and 4,638 channels will be opened from 8am to 6pm.
He said that a total of 49,290 personnel will be working on the voting process.
He encouraged the 2,539,606 eligible voters to come to vote.
