Off the runway, Gigi Hadid often uses her clout to call for peace.

With Ukraine facing invasion from the Russian troops, the supermodel has announced she will be donating all her earning from her Fall 2022 shows during Fashion Week, towards relief efforts in Ukraine.

She posted on her official Instagram post that she will be contributing what she earned from her Fall 2022 shows, following the footsteps of other models who would like to ‘walk’ for something despite having no control over most of their work schedules.

“Following in the footsteps of my friend @micarganaraz, I am pledging to donate my earnings from the Fall 2022 shows to aid those suffering from the war in Ukraine, as well as continuing to support those experiencing the same in Palestine.

“Our eyes and hearts must be open to all human injustice. May we all see each other as brothers and sisters, beyond politics, beyond race, beyond religion,” she posted on her Instagram.

She added, at the end of the day, innocent lives pay for war - not leaders, followed by “HANDS OFF UKRAINE. HANDS OFF PALESTINE. PEACE. PEACE. PEACE."

The 26-year-old supermodel is among other models such as sister Bella, Kaia Gerber, Kiki Willems, Vittoria Ceretti, Francesca Summers, and Aylah Peterson, Mica Argañaraz who have shown support towards Ukraine.

Argañaraz shared on her Instagram stories that it felt weird for her to be walking fashion shows knowing there’s a war happening in the same continent.
