JOHOR BAHRU - As the Johor state election enters its final leg, PKR Secretary-General Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail reminds Johoreans that BN and PN are similarly at fault for creating an unstable political environment.

Criticising BN's motto for the election of fighting for a more stable future, Saifuddin said the coalition was responsible for calling the state election in the first place, which many deemed was unnecessary.

Saifuddin also stated that PN's ongoing feud with BN have also heightened political instability in the country as both coalitions try to out manoeuver each other at the cost of the people's wellbeing.

"It is they who contributed to the political instability in the country. Both sides are more concerned about gaining power at the cost of the rakyat," he said in a press conference along with several PKR candidates for the southern seats in the state elections in Larkin here today.

Saifuddin further claimed that Umno will use its upcoming annual general assembly, due to start on March 17, as a catalyst to pressure Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob to call for an early general election.

This is because many in Umno believed that they will big in this state election, the results of which will be used to justify for an early general election, said Saifuddin.

"They will use their coming general assembly as a platform to boast on their supposed win in Johor to call for a general election.

"They will pressure the prime minister, which is Umno's own deputy president, to do so" he said.

Saifuddin explained that, unlike PN and BN, PH remains united and committed to fighting for reforms and people-centric policies.
