SHAH ALAM - The Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) has mobilised its personnel and assets to help flood victims in Kelantan and Terengganu.

Senior Minister (Defence) Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, who shared the matter on Facebook today, stated that the military personnel and assets from Malaysian Eighth Infantry Brigade will head to the two east coast states under Operations Murni (Ops Murni).

“MAF is focused on the flood situation in several areas, especially in Kelantan and Terengganu at this time.

“Team 21 of the Royal Malay Regiment (21 RAMD) has now been deployed to Rantau Panjang, Team 16 RAMD to Hulu Terengganu, while Team 5 of the Royal Artillery Regiment (RAD) to Besut.

“InsyaAllah, MAF will do whatever it can to help the flood victims there.

“Take care of yourself and everyone's safety," he said.
