Md Taib first candidate to arrive at Bukit Kepong nomination centre

PAGOH - Pejuang candidate Md Taib Md Suhut was the first to arrive for the nomination process for the Bukit Kepong state seat.

Md Taib who was wearing a white Baju Melayu, arrived at about 7.50am, accompanied by a supporter and a proposer at Dewan Karisma, Institut Kemahiran Tinggi Belia Negara (IKTBN), here.

Perikatan National (PN) candidate who was also former Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Dr Sahruddin Jamal, arrived at 8.36am.

Sahruddin who was also clad in Baju Melayu came with a supporter and a proposer.

At 8.41am, Barisan National (BN) candidate Ismail Mohamed arrived with a supporter and a proposer.

Meanwhile, Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) candidate Nurafiqah M Zulkifli who was contesting for the first time arrived with a supporter and proposer at 8.54am.

However, there were no independent candidates seen contesting for the Bukit Kepong state seat.

Returning officer for the Bukit Kepong state assembly Rahaman @Abdul Rahman Selamat then announced the closing of the nomination form submissions at 10am.
