EP Borneo bags Apac award for best eco-friendly products manufacturer
SHAH ALAM - Local company EP Borneo Sdn Bhd has won the Asia Pacific (Apac) Business Award for the best eco-friendly products manufacturer in Southeast Asia for the year 2021.
In a statement today, EP Borneo founder Hayden Clark said this proved the quality of the company’s products, systems and services.
Another business partner, Aurelia Harumal noted that EP Borneo works with homeowners, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) multinational corporations and government departments in multiple locations, from the Middle East to Indonesia.
Founded in 2005, the company has over two decades of experience in markets ranging from Australia to Malaysia.
The company provides environmentally-friendly cleaning solutions, waterproofing solutions, construction additives as well as award winning and world heritage-listed restoration projects.
The raw materials it used were certified as 100% biodegradable by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and EU Standards as well as all leading global environmental organisations.
The products have zero negative impact on waterways or oceans, cause no harm to plants and will not leave damaging by-products that would linger for many years.
All products were water-based, with the majority being crafted using rainwater collected in its harvesting tanks.
Besides that, none of the products have been tested on animals.
The statement said EP Borneo’s vision is to provide eco-friendly solutions to industries where environmental awareness in operations may be lacking.
It also stated that because Southeast Asia is a world market that is rapidly developing, the need for such solutions and education were crucial for the planet.
For the last 15 years, the company has worked with major international companies such as Petronas, Saudi Aramco, Mahindra, BHP, Shangri-La Group and Sim Leisure Group: Theme Park.
“We have also collaborated with award-winning architects & projects such as the Guinness World Records-recognised World's Longest Water Slide in Penang,” said Aurelia.
