Malaysia records a slight increase in Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours
SHAH ALAM: The health ministry reported 21,315 cases in the past 24 hours as compared to 21,072 yesterday, said health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
In his Twitter post he further said the cumulative number of cases now stands at 3,061,550.
He added 99.59 per cent, or 21,228 of the new cases were in category one and two, while 87 cases or 0.41 per cent were in categories three, four and five.
Categories one and two refers to patients with no symptoms or mild symptoms, category three involves lung infections, category four patients require oxygen, while category five refers to critical cases with organ damage and requiring ventilator assistance. - Bernama
