Ignore trivial matters, Anwar tells PKR members amidst Johor polls
PETALING JAYA: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has advised his party members to ignore trivial matters that arise in cooperation with the opposition parties.
He said PKR members should instead focus on giving awareness and educating the public in light of the Johor State Elections.
“I advised my PKR friends to pay attention to the people.
"We have suffered longer.
“Our party, as I mentioned last year, is a party of suffering and party for orang susah (poor communities).
“Focus on the work, don’t take trivial issues raised by others too seriously,” he said.
Anwar said this in regards to the provocations reported on social media between PKR members with newcomers Malaysia United Democratic Alliance (Muda).
Meanwhile, Anwar said PKR will most likely give way to Simpang Renggam MP Dr Maszlee Malik a chance to contest in the Johor polls.
However, he said, the coalition (Pakatan Harapan) has yet to discuss him being named a candidate for Menteri Besar.
