Prime Minister wishes Muhyiddin a speedy recovery

PUTRAJAYA - The Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob wishes National Recovery Council (NRC) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who just tested positive for Covid-19, to get well soon.

“May Allah SWT bestow Muhyiddin and his family good health and recovery,” he posted on his Twitter on Wednesday.

Muhyiddin had earlier said he had tested positive for Covid-19 after taking the Reaction Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction test (RT-PCR).

“Alhamdulillah, I only have mild symptoms and in good condition,” he said on his Twitter account.

He said he had taken the test after chairing the NRC meeting on Tuesday (Feb 8).

Also present during the meeting were Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, Education Minister Senator Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin, Finance Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister at the Prime Minister's Department (Economy) Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamad, Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development Minister Tan Sri Noh Omar, International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, Immigration Department director-general Datuk Seri Khairul Dzaimee Daud and Capital A Berhad chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes.

Media members were also present during the event.
