SHAH ALAM - Malaysia charts a whopping 11,034 new Covid-19 infections today, breaching past the 10,000 mark yet again, according to data released by the Health Ministry.

Yesterday, 10,089 cases were recorded with the Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah stating that the nation's overall Rt or the effective reproduction number of Covid-19 infections were at 1.2 as of Jan 5.

Dr Hisham also stated that daily cases are likely to see upwards of 22,000 cases per day by the end of March.
