SHAH ALAM - For Ketari assemblyman Young Syefura Othman, she is fed up with being labelled a "traitor' to her own kind, simply by joining with the DAP.

Being in politics for a little over seven years, Young Syefura however won't allow labels to define her and instead intend to work hard and serve her constituency to disprove her critics.

"It is very tiring, as a Malay and a Muslim, people will assume we are a traitor to the Malays, traitor to our race but it is a normal thing.

"So we must show through our work ethics and then people would not judge as based on the party but on the individual,'' she said to Sinar Daily.

Young Syefura or fondly known as Rara took the opportunity during Sinar Daily's Politically Frank segment to share her thoughts on contemporary politics and why she had joined the DAP.
