Pejuang, PKR agrees for Johor election candidates to take up RBTag psychometric test voluntarily
ADRIANA NABILLA MOHD ANUAR AND MUKHRIZ MAT HUSINSHAH ALAM - Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) vice president, Datuk Marzuki Yahya fully supports the suggestions for all Johor state election candidates to take the Rasuah Busters Tag (RBTag) psychometric test before contesting.
Marzuki said Pejuang will always support any effort to combat and eradicate corruption practices.
“I will always get behind any suggestion to fight off corruption and power abuse of irresponsible individuals as well as supporting any method that is able to ensure the state election candidates are not involved in any corrupt activities,” he said when contacted by Sinar Harian on Monday (Jan 31).
Meanwhile, Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) communication director, Fahmi Fadzil also agreed with the suggestions of the potential candidates in Johor state elections to take the RBTag psychometric test.
The Lembah Pantai MP said the psychometric test can be made as an additional positive value for the candidates and subsequently instil the confidence of voters towards the leadership of the party.
He said while the candidate's list for the state elections is yet to be finalized, he welcomes those who want to take the RBTag psychometric test.
“Personally, I concur with the suggestions of the added measure for the Johor state election candidates.
“During 14th General Election, many of the candidates from Pakatan Harapan including myself have made public asset declarations and that, to some extent instilled confidence among the public that we are not involved in any corrupt practices.
“I welcome potential candidates to come forward and take the psychometric test although it is not required by the party,” he told Sinar Harian on Monday (Jan 31).
On Sunday (Jan 30), #RasuahBusters chief secretariat, Nurhayati Nordin urged all potential candidates of the Johor state election to take the RBTag Psychometric test to evaluate their integrity and credibility.
According to Nurhayati, the candidates should grab the opportunity in taking the test to prove to their respective parties that they are capable of becoming a candidate for the upcoming state election.
