SHAH ALAM -Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department director Datuk Seri Abd Jalil Hassan said the police and the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (Jais) have yet to receive reports or complaints related to the matter of Muhammad Qassim and his "dreams".

However, he assured that the relevant authorities are now aware of the existence of the group, Gerakan Akhir Zaman (Gaza), and its heretical teachings.

“We have reached out to Jais to conduct joint monitoring to curb this issue.

“Those with information on the matter should come forward and alert the police or Jais immediately,'' he told Sinar Daily today.

At the time of writing, 230 locals have joined Gaza’s Whatsapp group named ‘Gaza Malaysia Dream Qasim’, which was created to recruit and spread the teachings of Qassim and his dreams.

Qassim is reportedly a 45-year-old man from Lahore Pakistan who claimed to have met with the Prophet Muhammad and Allah over 300 times and was ‘entrusted’ to share his dreams with others.

The man had also claimed that he dreamt of meeting the Dajjal (the great deceiver) several times and he also dreamt of seeing the Yakjuj and Makjuj (the embodiment of evil) being released on earth.
