KOTA BHARU - The teachings related to the dreams of a man from Pakistan spread by a group known as Gerakan Akhir Zaman (Gaza) which originated from Indonesia, have yet made its way to Kelantan and Negeri Sembilan.

Kelantan Mufti Datuk Mohamad Shukri Mohamad said as of now, the authorities have yet received any complaint or information on the matter.

“Should there be any reports regarding the teachings, the Kelantan Islamic Affairs and Religious Department (Jaheaik) will investigate.

“The results of the investigation will then be sent to the Islamic Religious Council (MAIK) for them to look at,” he said when asked to comment on the group that has been inviting the public to believe in the dreams of a Pakistani man about the end of time.

Mohamad Shukri also said the issues will be presented to the State Fatwa Council (JFN) for further action.

He said these were the steps that will be taken should they receive any report regarding the teachings in Kelantan.

Negeri Sembilan Mufti Datuk Mohd Yusof Ahmad has asked members of the public to report to the Negeri Sembilan Islamic Religious Affairs Department (JHEAINS) if they have any information on the Pakistani man and his purported 'dreams'.

He stated that no reports were received as of now regarding such teachings.

According to him, the Muslims must prepare themselves for the emergence of deviant teachings and consult with the local authorities if they have any doubts.
