SHAH ALAM - A group calling for people to believe in the the dreams of Muhammad Qasim Abdul Karim about the end of time, has made its way in Malaysia.

Known as the Gerakan Akhir Zaman (End of Time movement) or Gaza, the group from Indonesia was said to have been making preparations for the end of time.

The preparations were made based on the dreams of the man from Pakistan who claimed that he was only obeying the commands of Allah SWT.

On Wednesday, Sinar Harian received an email from an unknown man inviting people to get to know the group.

“Gaza has become well known in Indonesia with the support from various parties and has been making progress to introduce the Pakistani man and his dreams which drew worldwide attention as many of them came true.

“Now they are holding a ‘safari dakwah’ (a preaching series, which runs for several days) in Indonesia and in the midst of preparing a land of Uzlah (seclusion) in Pakistan to help those who wanted to make ‘hijrah’ (migration),” according to the email.

In the email, they had also attached links to several websites to make it easier for people to find out more about Gaza, Muhammad Qasim and the ‘safari dakwah’ held in Indonesia.

Last year, Gaza went on a trip to Pakistan to meet Muhammad Qasim and after the meeting, they became more confident in him.

“They have also conducted a Zoom session while they were there and had invited some people, journalists and distinguished clerics (agamawan), to get to know more about the man,” it said.

Besides the email, the movement had also created a WhatsApp group named ‘Gaza Malaysia Dream Qasim’ and added in random phone numbers in its efforts to spread the teachings.

To date, a total of 230 people have joined the WhatsApp group.

Through the websites listed by the group, Sinar Harian found that the movement had widely conveyed the dreams of Muhammad Qasim, stating the ar-Ru’yah ash-Shadiqah (true dreams) as a prophecy.

Among the dreams Muhammad Qasim claimed to have had were about his meeting with Allah and Prophet Muhammad SAW for 300 times and that he had been entrusted to share his dreams with others.

The man had also claimed that he dreamt of meeting the Dajjal (evil false prophet) several times, apart from seeing the Yakjuj and Makjuj (Gog and Magog) being released on earth.

If previously, there was Sittah Annur, the woman linked to the alleged anti-Islamic 'Perjalanan Mimpi Yang Terakhir' (PMYT) group which had widely spread the teachings on social media, now there is the Gaza movement which had used a more ‘safe’ approach as it did not spread its teachings openly.
