Don't believe unverified news on Dr Mahathir's health, says daughter Marina
SHAH ALAM - Tun Dr Mahathri Mohamad is still being treated at the National Heart Institute (IJN) today, assured his daughter Datin Seri Paduka Marina Mahathir.
In a brief statement, Marina said that Dr Mahathir has interacted with his family.
She also urges members of the public not to believe any speculations or rumours pertaining to Dr Mahathir's health from unverified sources.
"IJN and Tun Dr Mahathir's family will issue a statement from time to time,'' said Marina.
On behalf of Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali and the family, Marina also thanked those who have prayed for Dr Mahathir's good health.
Dr Mahathir was admitted to IJN's cardiac care unit yesterday however the exact reason remains unknown.
However, Marina also issued a statement yesterday, stating that her father is in stable condition.
