SHAH ALAM - The Covid-19 rotating self-test at home for primary school students will be implemented starting this Wednesday.

The Ministry of Education (MOE) through a statement, detailed that self-test kit will be issued starting tomorrow ( Jan 12) with the test needed to be informed to the relevant school authorities on (Thursday) Jan 13.

"If they (the students) are negative, then they could attend school but if they are positive, then their parents/guardian needed to take them to the nearest health facility for further action and their school must be informed,'' said the statement.

"If the test results are not valid, parents or guardians must inform the school and students will undergo the screening test again when they attend school.

"This ruling also applies to all primary schools and private kindergartens registered under the MOE,'' added the statement.
