Bob Saget, ‘Full House’ star, found dead at 65
Florida, UNITED STATES - Known for his beloved role as Danny Tanner on the 1990’s sitcom ‘Full House’, actor and comedian Bob Saget passed away at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Orlando, Florida. He was 65.
According to Variety, police officers responded to a man down call at the hotel, when Saget was discovered unresponsive in a hotel room by employees. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Not much information is known about the cause of his death but reports say there was no foul play or drug use found.
Saget’s unexpected death comes amid his stand-up tour across the United States, which kick-started in September 2021.
Celebrities have paid tribute to the actor on social media. Actress Kat Dennings was one of the first to react, calling her TV-father ‘the loveliet man’.
“Oh god. Bob Saget!! The loveliest man. I was his TV daughter for one season and he was always so kind and protective. So so sorry for his family,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, actor Gilbert Gottfried was shocked as he recalled speaking to the actor only a few days ago. “We stayed on the phone as usual making each other laugh. RIP to friend, comedian and felllow Aristocrat Bob Saget,” he wrote.
