StopAntisemitism has also called for the US government to investigate her as a possible unregistered foreign agent for expressing sympathy for children in Gaza.

SHAH ALAM - Children’s YouTube icon Ms Rachel is being targeted by Jewish civil rights watchdog StopAntisemitism for calling attention to the starvation of Palestinian children and urging the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

According to reports, the United States (US)-based pro-Israel group had accused her of "spreading Hamas propaganda" not for political commentary, but for simply expressing concern for the suffering of the children in Gaza.

StopAntisemitism has also called for the US government to investigate her as a possible unregistered foreign agent for expressing sympathy for children in Gaza.

The group claimed that her recent social media posts about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza mirrored pro-Hamas narratives and potentially breached the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

Since the escalation of Israel's attacks on Gaza in October, 2023, Rachel Griffin Accurso, known to millions of families around the world as Ms Rachel has used the platform to draw attention to the suffering of Palestinian children.

It was reported that among the content flagged by StopAntisemitism was a photograph of a severely malnourished boy in Gaza, Fadi al-Zant, which the group said was misleading because he had cystic fibrosis.

However, in reality, Fadi was actually dying of both the condition and starvation, as confirmed by his mother in an interview with American daily newspaper The Washington Post.

Another point of contention the group made was Ms Rachel’s reference to casualty figures provided by the Gaza Health Ministry which showed that over 15,000 children were killed in Gaza since Israel's war on the enclave in October 2023 which was confirmed by numerous international aid organisations and considered credible by the United Nations (UN).

Although Israel disputed the figure, it has not provided transparent alternatives or access for independent verification.

According to reports, the group had also slammed Ms Rachel for posting about children dying of hypothermia in Gaza, calling them "fake cold deaths" and claimed that the images were sourced from Wikipedia and temperatures were "warm."

However, Gaza Health Ministry, Doctors Without Borders and UNICEF documented freezing temperatures that hit Gaza between December 2024 and February 2025 and numerous newborns and children died from cold.

Meanwhile, according to reports, in a formal letter to US Attorney General Pam Bondi, StopAntisemitism director Liora Rez demanded an investigation into whether Ms Rachel was being paid to share pro-Gaza content.
