Skyworth Malaysia aids Putra Heights fire victims with household appliances, limited to 50 families

Each affected household is eligible to redeem one appliance from the following list: TV (50SUE7600), fridge (SRD-265WT), washing machine (T90M26NJ), or air conditioner (SMFC12V). This offer is limited to the first 50 households only.

SHAH ALAM - In the aftermath of the recent Putra Heights gas pipeline fire, Skyworth Malaysia is stepping up to support affected families by providing them with one household appliance each to help rebuild their homes.

The initiative is limited to 50 families, offering a meaningful gesture of solidarity during this challenging time.

"We stand with the families affected by the fire and want to provide tangible support as they rebuild their lives.

"We hope this small contribution will help ease their burdens and restore some comfort to their homes," it said.

How to apply for assistance

The programme is open exclusively to those directly impacted by the Putra Heights fire. To qualify for a household appliance, applicants must provide these verification details:

  • Identification card
  • Phone number
  • Email
  • Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) bill to confirm their affected household address

Those who would like to receive a household appliance can register via this Google Form: https://forms.gle/WtgqHihcvabUHqPG6.

The Skyworth team will then get in touch through WhatsApp for delivery arrangements.

Products available for redemption

Skyworth has emphasised that the programme is limited to 50 units across these product categories and appliances will be delivered on a first-come, first-served basis. The redemption period will last until Oct 31.

Terms and conditions

To ensure the proper handling of the initiative, Skyworth has set several conditions.

  • Participants must submit all required information, including the TNB bill, by June 30.
  • Only one appliance per household will be allowed.
  • Products are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
  • Skyworth reserves the right to substitute products with alternatives of equal value and to modify or cancel the programme if unforeseen circumstances arise.
