They said it was "clearly false and baseless".

KIM Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, has denied recent allegations circulating online regarding the South Korean superstar.

Kim, known for his roles in hit dramas such as Queen of Tears, My Love from the Star, and It's Okay to Not Be Okay, recently faced controversy after being linked to scandalous rumours involving the late actress Kim Sae-ron.

In an official statement, Gold Medalist strongly refuted the claims made by the YouTube channel HoverLab Inc., calling them "clearly false and baseless."

"These malicious claims directed at our company and actor Kim Soo Hyun are entirely false and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.

"We are currently reviewing the strongest possible legal actions against HoverLab Inc. for spreading these falsehoods,” the agency said in a statement.

Gold Medalist further addressed the allegations made during the broadcast, in which HoverLab Inc. claimed that both the agency and Kim Soo-hyun had collaborated with YouTuber Lee Jin Ho to harass the late Kim Sae-ron.

The channel also alleged that Kim Soo-hyun had been in a romantic relationship with Kim Sae-ron since she was 15 years old, that the agency mishandled the aftermath of Kim Sae-ron’s DUI incident, and that a manager from the agency maintained a close relationship with Lee Jin Ho for personal gain.

The agency condemned these allegations, stating that they not only harm the reputation of their company and their actor but also disrespect the memory of the late actress.

"Our company is deeply saddened by the passing of the late Kim Sae-ron, who was once part of our agency, and we mourn her loss.

"However, the dissemination of such false information by HoverLab Inc. mirrors the very behaviour of so-called ‘cyber wreckers’ that caused the late actress so much pain during her lifetime,” the statement continued.

Gold Medalist urged the public not to further spread, amplify, or reproduce these baseless rumours.

Previously, the allegations, which have been widely circulated on social media, stemmed from a video posted by HoverLab Inc. on March 10.

The channel claimed that Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron had been in a relationship for six years, beginning when she was 15 and he was 27.

HoverLab Inc. also stated that their claims were verified by Kim Sae-ron’s parents and included a phone interview with a family member who participated without voice modulation.

Kim Sae-ron was found dead at her home in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong district on Feb 16, with investigations confirming her death as a suicide.
