Royal Brunei Airlines offers free stopover for long layovers in Brunei

Royal Brunei Airlines has introduced a new stopover programme offering complimentary hotel accommodation for passengers transiting in Brunei.

The Stopover Paid by Carrier programme applies to travellers with layovers of more than eight hours in Brunei and is valid for tickets purchased between March 4, 2025 and Sept 4, 2025.

SHAH ALAM – Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) has introduced a new stopover programme offering complimentary hotel accommodation for passengers transiting in Brunei.

The Stopover Paid by Carrier (STPC) programme applies to travellers with layovers of more than eight hours at the Brunei International Airport (BWN) and is valid for tickets purchased between March 4, 2025 and Sept 4, 2025.

The offer is available to those flying on selected routes from Kuala Lumpur to London, Melbourne, Nanning and Taipei.

Under this programme, passengers meeting the eligibility criteria will receive a fully covered hotel stay during their stopover, easing long transit periods and encouraging visitors to explore Brunei during their layover.

To qualify, passengers must submit their STPC request at least five working days before their arrival in BWN.

However, bookings under group travel, RB Super Saver fares and non-revenue tickets such as frequent flyer redemptions, staff travel and sponsorships are not eligible.

While RB covers the hotel stay, passengers are responsible for any visa requirements or additional stopover-related costs.
